The performance "Oh my sweet ear and the songs of Spring" with the heartbreaking obituary of the Virgin Mary as its central axis, will be presented by Glykeria on Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday, April 29 and 30 at the Gialino Music Theatre.
Launched in 2016, Release Athens has become one of the most important summer music events in Athens and across Greece, hosted mainly in Water Square (Plateia Nerou), a beautiful open – air venue right by the sea within minutes of downtown Athens.

How can a genius 21st century musician bring one of the oldest musical instruments in history back to life? Matthais Kuhn, after first thoroughly mastering the technique of Pana's flute, set out to build a repertoire specially written for the instrument, commissioning works from composers of our time. To date, he has presented over three hundred works in various combinations: solo, duo, trio, for chamber music ensembles, with church organ accompaniment, and even with an orchestra.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFNC), the National Symphony Orchestra and the ERT Choir under the direction of Michalis Oikonomou, present Mozart's masterpiece Requiem, surrounded by some of the most immersive works of world music philology.
The Lamentation of the Virgin Mary, the religious hymn Stabat Mater Dolorosa (Stabat Mater Dolorosa), describes the sorrow and mental pain of the Virgin as she mourns Jesus under the Cross. The poem inspired many composers, including Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (1710-1736) who, at the age of only 26 and shortly before dying of tuberculosis, composed the masterpiece "Stabat Mater" for two female voices and baroque ensemble.
