Cafe & Restaurant at the Cycladic Art Museum

The Cycladic Cafe & Restaurant at the Museum of Cycladic Art, is a small atrium located on the floor level, towards the back of the building. The water fountain, with mosaic flooring, exudes relaxation while visitor can grab a light meal.

Cycladic Cafe is a special area of artistic taste and harmony. The architect, Stelios Kois, with an airy, imposing roof-top creates beautiful shades, while the natural light of the room is enhanced by artificial lighting in such a way that the high aesthetics fit with relaxation and functionality.

The decor is in marble with warm, wooden elements, looking out from its glass encasing to the museum shop which leads to a separate side street exit.

Notably, during the summer months, the ceiling of the the Cycladic Cafe presents it retractable roof - where the sunlight beams down on the trees adorning the side-wall of the cafe and keeps us in touch with nature, even in the city.

Do not forget that your entrance to "Cycladic Cafe" does not require a museum ticket.
