Description
Serves as the Hellenic recording label of the multinational Universal Music Group. It is recognized as the founding record business in Greece in the 1930s. The repertory has recorded the musical, social and cultural development of modern Greece. The most worthy Greek composers, musicians, poets, lyricists, and singers from each period have collaborated and recorded masterpieces with MINOS-EMI. Names from folk, light, rebetiko, classical, and modern pop and rock include Dimitris Mytropanos, Nana Mouskouri, Onirama, Sakis Rouvas, Helena Paparizou, and many more. The renowned artists and their creations quickly crossed the borders and their songs became Hellenic ambassadors in all corners of the earth. Presently, the label has the richest "catalog" with tens of thousands of titles of Greek and international repertoire.
