This alternative form of entertainment requires 2 teams of players that try to eliminate each other by hitting the opponents. So, some planning ahead and forming teams of 6-8 persons is essential in order to play. The paint used in the game is a non-toxic, water-soluble dye, and shot from a compressed air gun. The adrenaline filled adventure takes place on indoor or outdoor fields with the natural or artificial terrain and based upon a variety of rules that are set before the start of the game.
Apart from recreational purposes, paintball is also a competitive sport with professional teams organizing tournaments and events. It is advisable to wear long sleeved shirts and sports shoes in order to enjoy the game safely.
